June, most of the stripers, have spawned and are hungry, you can catch fish on down lines, boards, umbrella rigs etc. smith mountain lake is great can catch allot of fish from 10 to 18 pounds. The Cumberland River is now roaming with fish from 20 to 60 pounds are better that are really aggressive, great time of year.
